Sitges and Freixenet Cava Wine Cellars
The guided tour at Freixenet begins with a brief audiovisual presentation of the history of a family business, followed by a visit to the old part of the cellars built in 1922. Here, the house guides will personally explain the process of cava production and give advice on serving and drinking this sparkling beverage.
You will board a small train to travel through part of the 20 kilometer underground cava cellars , arriving at the tasting room where you can taste the different cavas of the Freixenet range.
Then, we head to Sitges , one of the Catalan coast's most picturesque villages. With the Garraf massif as a backdrop, Sitges is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Catalonia. Its climate, with almost 300 days of sun per year, seventeen beaches, an attractive range of cultural opportunities and its exceptional cuisine and shopping options make it the perfect choice for enjoying the Mediterranean coast.
