With a series of 35 tanks, 11,000 animals and 450 different species, an 80-metre long underwater tunnel, six million litres of water, and an immense Oceanarium, the only one in Europe, this aquarium is quite unique and is a must-see when visiting Barcelona. More than 14 million people have already visited this amazing aquarium!

Children can have fun and learn about marine life at the children's section of the aquarium called Explora. There are 50 interactive activities where children can touch, see, listen to, investigate, and discover life under the sea.

Soon after you have completed your booking your e-ticket will be sent directly to your email.  Please print it out and bring it to the aquarium.

Are there children's rates?
Yes, children's rates are available for children between ages 4-12. Children under age four are free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Opening hours

Opening hours: July and August: 9:30 am to 23:00 p.m. June, September and weekends: 9:30 am to 21:30 p.m. Rest of the year: 9:30 am to 21:00 p.m. (Admissions until 1 hour before closing)
