Explore Barcelona with the Hop-On Hop-Off Buses
Whether it's your first time in Barcelona or you've visited the city several times, the Hop-on Hop-off buses is an excellent option for those who want to explore the city without having to walk everywhere or take public transportation to get around.
With one ticket, you can hop on and off and change routes as much as you like! Learn about the history of the city through a comfortable audio system available in 12 different languages, including English, German, French, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese.
The new buses are adapted for people with limited mobility and have an electric roof, if it should begin to rain. The buses are fitted with anatomical seats and heating on both decks.
How do I get my tickets?
Shortly after your booking is complete your e-ticket will be sent directly to your email, just print it out and bring it to Barcelona.
How does it work?
Once you get to Barcelona you need to redeem your e-ticket for your Hop-On Hop-off ticket at any of the following Barcelona Turisme offices:
1) Plaza de Catalunya, 17-s
Opening hours: Daily from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM
2) Colon Monument (at the end of the Ramblas) Portal de la Pau s/n
Opening hours: Daily from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM
3) Barcelona Airport, Terminal 2B & Terminal 1
Opening hours: Daily from 9 AM to 9 PM
You can begin your tour from both Plaza de Catalunya and the Colon Monument.
How long is my ticket valid?
Your Hop-On Hop-Off ticket is valid for 24 or 48 hours depending on the option you choose.
Where do the buses stop?
Click at 'Map' under 'Directions' to the right to get a printable copy of the routes map and stops. When you board the bus you'll get a map and guide with all the stops of each of the routes, and discounts for different establishments in the city.
How often do the buses run?
Buses operate at 5 to 25-minute intervals, depending on the season.
How many routes are there?
There are 3 routes: Red, Green and Blue. Each route takes approximately 2 hours if you don't get off the bus.
Are there children's tickets?
Yes, children's tickets are available for children between age 4-12. Children under age 4 are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
